What like a Cat, Lion and a Tiger are too similar all being felines? Or maybe Swans, Magpies, Eagles, Crows and Hawks, since they are all birds, are too similar? Or is it because they start with the same letter like the Blues and Bulldogs? Or Saints and Swans?

I doubt Tassie Devils would work because of licensing and copyright issues.

Funny that the afl already have the Tasmanian devils name copyrighted already which is why the new nbl team couldn’t use it

For a start, why do people think the the team name will be 'Tasmania' ??

That is the state team (if that ever happens again) so it has to be Hobart or something similar.

As for the nickname and/or logo ............ The Bass Straits ??

Devils is too obvious and already done, apples is wimpy, two-heads too disrespectful, that thing needs a little more thought.
