Team A vs Team B

Me and my mate decided to create our own team with the best players in the comp through a selection by selection process without looking at any team lists or statistics. We could not select the same players. Both of us are Essendon Supporters and we have not nominated a sub. Keep in mind this is BASED ON EACH PLAYER AT FULL FITNESS. Which team is better?

HB: Scotland B. Reid Enright
C: Goodes Murphy Griffen
HF: Chapman Franklin Bartel
F: Cyril J. Riewoldt Milne
R: Cox Ablett Mitchell
I/C: Sandilands Pavlich Thompson Watson

Team A probably for their midfield + better defence.

Team A has better a backline and midfield, Team B much better forward line.

I think backlines and midfields are more important so going with A.

I'd lean towards team B, but it'd be a toss of the coin each time they play. Either side could very easily get up on their day.

If Goodes, Franklin or Cyril have one of those days, team B basically wins. Team A also seems easier to find some weak spots in. Ie. Put some body into Leon Davis, and he crumbles. Eliminate Cloke (hard task i know) and he has less backup than if you manage to eliminate Franklin.

Meanwhile, the midfields are so even that it is more a matter of who plays well and is in form, rather than which midfield is actually slightly better. Also, whichever team can make a tagger out of one of the slightly less elite midfielders so as to eliminate the output of a Judd, Ablett etc. type will also have a huge advantage.

Edit: Also, Team B's rucks shit all over Team A. Sandilands + Cox would absolutely destroy Mumford and Petrie.
