Geelong not up yet.

RUFFLES!!!! t00t t00t!!

Doesn't really matter about the Ins.

The one Out is great! :)

Hopefully Ruffles gets a call up, that would be great for him. Also adds to the young side we have, although against Geeling he would probably break in half :o As long as he stays away from Mooney :)

If Chips plays we will have;

Broughton, Hill, Suban, Walters, Pearce, Ruffles, De Boer for first year players.. THATS INSANE :)

Pleased with those selections. Finally Josh is gone. I think the interchange will include De Boer, Bradely Peake, Campbell. I hope pearce gets another crack or even Ruffles to play down forward as ballas isnt fit. Exciting times though.

Good choice samseenee, with any luck thats the end of the turnover machine.

Cant see it happening yet but I'm hoping Ruffles gets included - the kid has some courage for his age and size

Im pretty chuffed to see Son Son get another go. I thought he was really good against Port and shows some finesse.

On a side note I like Peake, he hasn't been setting the world on fire of late but has he done enough to keep his spot?
I would say yes, i think Harvs has played him in roles that he isn't suitable to and where he has struggled Harvs has been a little slow in moving him. That being said Peake is still responsible for his out put and impact on the game.

Doubt Ruffles will play - they would have made an announcement if he was going to... Still, good luck to the young fella to be so close! :thumbsu:

I agree, espically against Geelong where he would get smashed :) But alteast he knows what he has to do to get a call up :)

Ruffles has some guts, but they would be picking his femur off the top of the three tier stand if Max Rooke get's hold of him

Anyone know why Balla wasnt included?

Really good to see Ruffles get named

Really good to see theres no Head in the side this week

And i think we've over looked the fact, that despite the fact Murphy and Gilmore both played reasonably good WAFL games last week, they both have not been named :thumbsu:

Pretty clear statement to peake and kepler to. Wouldn't be surprised if one of them was to miss. I agree Ruffles may need more time, but good on him for putting his name up there. We can watch him saturday on abc anyway. Pearce as well although i would like him to retain his spot.

Yeah I think I heard that too, Harvs said something like "we'll be guided by the fitness guys"..... For god sakes Ballas tell 'em your ready!!!
LOL ;)

They're some nice inclusions right there. It's good to see Ruffles getting rewarded for his good form, but I think he might need a tad longer in the WAFL. And adding Hinkley to the squad is always good news.

It's hard to pick who will miss out. Unfortunately I think both Ruffles and Hinkley will miss out. And I have a bad feeling that Campbell or Pearce will be the other emergency.

I don't know how they come up with the placings sometimes... Suban on a wing, Hill on a HBF, Tarrant FF, Solomon FP, Thornton BP...

Surely we don't put them down on the team sheet like that, FFS

This would be a bit more plausible:

B: Greg Broughton, Antoni Grover, Nic Suban
HB: Steven Dodd, Luke McPharlin, Chris Tarrant
C: Steven Hill, Paul Hasleby, Garrick Ibbotson
HF: Scott Thornton, Matthew Pavlich, Paul Duffield
F: Michael Walters, Adam Campbell, Dean Solomon
Foll: Aaron Sandilands, Byron Schammer, David Mundy
I/C (from): Tim Ruffles, Matt de Boer, Brett Peake, Kepler Bradley

Give Ruffles a run for Pearce. Hinkley and Foster to miss out, unfortunately.

I think Pearce will be the one.
If Harvs has any sense and doesnt want a screaming lunatic(or lesbain for that matter)here in Melbs calling for blood he will play Mr Kiwi....

** Please note I am not related to the Moran family**

Happy to keep the great white flash in?
He has done ok the last few games :o

I'd like to see Hinkley given a chance over Peak

Don't think Campbell will be dropped considering we could use his bigger bodied attack at the ball against a physical side like Geelong
