Congrats to Troy Davis on a possible debut. Nicholson to possbly add some run.

Nicholson has been upgraded, suggests he will play IMO.

B: Magner, McKenzie, Tapscott, Nicholson.

Also glad to see Sellar back FWIW, means Clark can stay at FF.

Hope Davis plays, hes going to be a great player for this club.

Sucks to see Sellar back in, but i guess it will mean Clark can stay as a key forward with Sellar taking back up ruck.

Ok two things I don't get;

How on earth is Moloney still in the team??

More importantly how the hell did Sellar get straight back into the squad so easily?????????????

Warnock one of up to 7 changes

Duigan an interesting out (along with Murphy). McLean in lol. Waite doesn't come back.

B: Magner, McKenzie, Tapscott, Nicholson.

I would prefer martin.

Also I love that there is an article stating that we've dumped 'key trio' in regards to davey, silvia, and morton.

Sellar over Petterd?

Even then, I don't agree much with the team. Time to give the kids a go, time to get games into Taggert, Tynan, Cook etc. Good to see Davis potentially getting a game. Nicholson too.

actually, the next 3 weeks are the best time to sort out the keepers from the deadwood

the kids will be unleashed after the Bye

Tom McDonald and Daniel Nicholson across half back? They are going to need extra bags of Sherrins because between those two they are bound to butcher at least 50 balls.

Sellar wat a joke. I know it stops Clark from being 2nd ruck and keeps him up forward but why not Stef. Can someone tell me how Bail gets back in the side when he gets dropped last week and Casey didn't play last week (I know we don't have many to play the small forward role but surely Bennell could get another crack at it or Lawrence could have been given a go)? I know he has some talent but when you drop someone you should only re pick them once they show something at the levelbelow. Hopefully Trenners goes back into the middle where he plays his best.

Perhaps he just trained well during the week. Having last week off could have freshened him up a bit.

Stoked to see Nicholson given a crack, his speed is something that we are sorely missing and i would like to see him given a chance on one of garlett or betts (probs garlett). Other inclusions are pretty meh if you ask me, would have liked to see taggert or tynan get a crack but can't win them all. If we can limit judd, simpson and scotland we will go a long way to getting within the 5 goal barrier, otherwise it could get ugly.

GO DEES

Couchy trained strongly today. But he has missed two weeks. Tom was ill the week before the bye.

Rory Taggert is probably two weeks away from being close to AFL match fit. My guess is that when he breaks into the senior team he won't be seen much at Casey for the next ten years!

I understand that but IMO once dropped you should play well for Casey (earn your spot back) to get back into side

That's fine but if Bail impresses the coach during the week more than the other available options then there is no point in not selecting him just for the sake of it.

The whole dropping of players to Casey and making them earn back their spot scenario really only works when you have a lot of competition between players and solid depth. I dare say next year when it heats up the type of dropping of players you're talking about will be more prominent.

Neeld. Come on mate.

Cook, Taggert, Couch can't all have been unfit.

Yes they can. Cook and Taggert had no pre-season and have hardly played, while Couch, as mentioned above, has missed a couple of weeks.

I'm all for giving the kids a go etc. etc., but they have to at least be able to get through a game at AFL level.
