Because he's one of the blonde haired white head band wearing flogs that the commentators and VFL circle jerk over. What? How does Peatling get fined but Smith doesn't??

They don't care. They couldn't give a rat's arse if they're seen to be so blatantly biased.Tex rubbed out but Stewart no case to answer.
Peatling fined for wrestling but Bailey no case to answer.
They couldn’t make it more obvious if they tried.
"after he SHOVED..."Suspensions? I’m just going off this one.

So this is the first time it’s happened all year?
Not sure O'sullivan would have time to propel himself forward in the instant Tex touched his back, but I've watched it quite a few times from all the angles and this would be the least force of any of the similar incidents I've seen throughout the year. The push is minuscule. There is a massive disconnect between the force with which Tex pushes O’Sullivan and the pace at which O’Sullivan propels forward.
No doubt O’Sullivan felt Tex’s hands in his back and threw himself forward looking for the free.
I’m amazed Tom Stewart didn’t get a fine. Like seriously WtF.

It was a brain fart by Tex. they have been saying they dont like it for years now. In the end we should be pissed off because he almost injured our matchwinner. and for what?
Mansell got four for a similar action in pre-season, but that's mostly because it caused concussion. There may have been another as well thst got a week.Wasn't there a couple right at the start of the season? Or was that last year ?
Probably won't get off on action, but should raise the question about consistency. Why does Tex get a week, but not Georgiades?View attachment 2631066
Going to challenge!!!! Reported on AFC Facebook page.
I'm just glad we are not lying down and taking it as usual. As you said might not change the outcome but can at least ask a few questions and hopefully embarrass Christian and the AFL. At least I hope they can.Probably won't get off on action, but should raise the question about consistency. Why does Tex get a week, but not Georgiades?
Is it a push or more like a hand on the back? Looks like the latter to me

We just need to show other incidents like Georgiades as a precedent has been setView attachment 2631066

Smart. We used to win every half reasonable appeal in the days of Bassett defending himself.
I thought is was Smart too, apparently Nathan Bassett was cleared of a rough conduct charge involving Essendon’s Leroy Jetta in 2007. He successfully argued that contact was unavoidable during a genuine smother attempt. And in 2008 he got off a striking charge against Brisbane’s Jed Adcock by fronting the tribunal in person.Smart.
