Tex rubbed out for a push

Tex rubbed out but Stewart no case to answer.

Peatling fined for wrestling but Bailey no case to answer.

They couldn’t make it more obvious if they tried.
They don't care. They couldn't give a rat's arse if they're seen to be so blatantly biased.

While they know we'll keep turning up week after week regardless of the shit they deal us, they do not GAF about fairness.

There is a massive disconnect between the force with which Tex pushes O’Sullivan and the pace at which O’Sullivan propels forward.

No doubt O’Sullivan felt Tex’s hands in his back and threw himself forward looking for the free.

I’m amazed Tom Stewart didn’t get a fine. Like seriously WtF.
Not sure O'sullivan would have time to propel himself forward in the instant Tex touched his back, but I've watched it quite a few times from all the angles and this would be the least force of any of the similar incidents I've seen throughout the year. The push is minuscule.

This is bullshit and the AFL know it. They simply coiuldn't give a ****. If it was any of Dangerfield, Daicos, Bont, et al, it wouldn't even be looked at.

It was a brain fart by Tex. they have been saying they dont like it for years now. In the end we should be pissed off because he almost injured our matchwinner. and for what?

then why haven't they been suspending people for it all year?

Wasn't there a couple right at the start of the season? Or was that last year ?
Mansell got four for a similar action in pre-season, but that's mostly because it caused concussion. There may have been another as well thst got a week.

Probably won't get off on action, but should raise the question about consistency. Why does Tex get a week, but not Georgiades?
I'm just glad we are not lying down and taking it as usual. As you said might not change the outcome but can at least ask a few questions and hopefully embarrass Christian and the AFL. At least I hope they can.

It wouldn't be difficult to embarrass Christian.

The bloke was a meathead as a footballer and has issues forming a sentence.

I thought is was Smart too, apparently Nathan Bassett was cleared of a rough conduct charge involving Essendon’s Leroy Jetta in 2007. He successfully argued that contact was unavoidable during a genuine smother attempt. And in 2008 he got off a striking charge against Brisbane’s Jed Adcock by fronting the tribunal in person.

AFL opening another can of worms, players are not stupid and learn to milk everything. Feeling a slight hand in the back now gives them a licence to crash straight into and injure an opponent while also getting a free.
Weve seen it with below the knees a player diving in gives his opponent a chance to kick him in the head/body soccer style and get a free...
Same with dangerous tackles, when players are caught cold HTB they throw their head towards the ground to make the tackle look dangerous.
All good rules when applied correctly, designed to protect players, but really the Tribunal should be attempting to iron the blatant staging out and paying way more and heavier staging penalties imo
