I think we would need their future 1st round as well, maybe give them back a future 3rd and we get Sloane as the steak knives. This would be incumbent on Tex not coming within 10 kms of our training facility or game day, in fact he can stay based in Adelaide But must travel interstate or overseas when we travel to SA.

Perfect scenario. Would allow us to bid on Ugle-Hagan to pay the Doggies back for bidding on Moore, and then take McDonald after they match. Then we just need to work out how we leave Tex locked in a hub away from our players for the duration of his deal.

actually i thought of a better line after i posted...... he hasn't touched an AFL footy in 3 years

while i'm thinking about it, it's such a shame that Walker kicked more goals than Modra. Modra was a bit of a surfer but he came over to Freo and did a pretty fair job. The fact that he kicked the same amount of goals in half as many games as walker seems to have been forgotten.

i watched the game on the weekend and saw when walker kicked the goal. I wasn't impressed with the crowd reaction and the general reaction. The crow supporters are awfully forgiving. He has gone missing in the post-training camp era. This year he has actively steered clear of the ball and opposition players in contested situations, when his team has been crying out for leadership.

He would be one of the last players I'd consider bringing into the club.

I know, but when we lost treloar, Phillips and Stevo we obviously weren’t challenging again there was no point topping up with a key forward 30 years old

Agree, but the question was being asked in this thread before the list got pulled apart in one of the most gross mismanagements of a salary cap the league has seen.
