When I think of the phrase "that goal", it isn't necessarily your favourite goal, or the most skillful, it is the most famous/memorable.

For me, that's the Malcolm Blight goal. Before my time, not my team, but that is the "that goal" for me.

For me, opposition goals against my team are far more memorable, particularly if they are a "dagger in the heart" which undeservedly beats us, particularly the arsey goals that would never be repeated.:

1. Malceski in last quarter of the 2012 Grand Final;
2. Luke Ball in last quarter of the 2011 Prelim Final;
3. Hawkins in Round 19 of 2012.

Some good goals, but for a 'that goal' type reference it needs to be acknowledged by all without a gif. If somebody mentioned Cotchin, Stringer, Cassisi etc. without a GIF who would even remember them!?

Players like Buddy, Daicos, G.Ablett have about a dozen crazy goals...if you say remember Daicos' goal...who knows which one your talking about?

Mention Zaka's goal, McGuane's goal, Blight's torp, Gabo's run, Sheldon's goal they are candidates for 'that goal'.
