Weekend Wrap and "Liked, Learned, Hated" right here -- How did tipping go?
There is strong very reliable mail that earlier this week, the Board asked Buckley to step down however he declined. Just think this through for a moment. If true, what does that truly say about Buckley? I have questioned his authentic honor in the past but this is bordering on delusional, if true. Almost everyone with a balanced mindset can see that his current role is untenable. Probably even McGuire. Here is the chance to demonstrate a degree of dignity, if only for the cameras.
Buckley is starting to remind me of Sylvester the cat clawing onto the carpet as he is removed from Tweety Pie. Has he no dignity?

Should definitely be in the frame.
So you post a rumour which you don't know if its true or not then question a person character based on a that rumourThere is strong very reliable mail that earlier this week, the Board asked Buckley to step down however he declined. But you are DasDS thoughRelax Lads
I don't need a very reliable source to make me question Buckley's public media persona. I am big, bad, old and ugly enough to question it all on my own, thank you very much. Now please don't automatically brand me as a "Buckley hater".
Go on, you can do it, admit it you're a Buckley hater, and you were doing backflips of delight with this "rumour"Relax Lads

I understand it to be a Latin phrase, meaning lacking in forethoughtYou got me there Jack.
I'm probably older than most here - what the hell is DasDS?
Well that goes against the rumour that he resigned after the Port game. There is strong very reliable mail that earlier this week, the Board asked Buckley to step down however he declined. Looks like we're miles apart in our thinking re Bucks but on the same page re Road Runner buddy, I too wanted him caught that pesky Road RunnerOK mate, you've got me. I'm coming clean. I spend every waking minute hating Buckley. I hate him. I hate him. I hate him. Never met him, but I hate him. OK are we done now, you've caught me out, you clever little person, you.
PS: Didn't anyone enjoy my little Sylvester analogy. That great visual of Sylvester clawing onto the carpet desperately trying to stay in the room to get little Tweety. By the way I thought Tweety was really cute and I for one, am glad that he never ate him. Mind you, I wanted the Coyote to catch that pain in the arse Road Runner.

The best thing for the club is for Buckley to coach out the season and then leave.
Why? Because they players have checked out from Buckley and its better for the new coach to secure a top 5 pick.
Having an interim coach to come in and play the kids will probably invigorate the team to win some games. Finishing 10-11th again does the team no good.
To be honest, my bigger concern is that Buckley coaches out the year but refuses to play kids.
There are also a number of mid-tier players that we need to find out about.
Already this week Bucks has opted to play Blair and Wells. If this is the tone for the rest of the year, then it is going to make life difficult for the next coach as he is going to have to make decision on players he won't know much about at senior level.
That's been my take as well since the Hawthorn game which ended any hope I had of us making finals. To be honest, my bigger concern is that Buckley coaches out the year but refuses to play kids.
