I have an interview for a job in Adelaide next week.

Which suburbs can I move to where I'm not going wind up in a barrel?
Maslins Beach :thumbsu:

Took my kids there once and had no idea what unclad meant ... until we all knew. Fell for a local's advice when I moved over

Further north or south of the CBD you go, sketchier it gets. I always treated Grand Junction Rd as the line.

Beyond that, go west if you like the beach, east if you like the hills. Apart from a handful of suburbs, most of Adelaide feels pretty indistinct.
Hmmm... by that logic Kilburn is safe.... Kilburn pretty much eclipses all other suburbs listed in the dodginess stakes.

Was leaving the mother in laws house at Kilburn yesterday and this 5-6 year old kid rode past on his PJ Masks bike, looked at me, yelled out "motherf**ker" and kept riding. Lovely place

Bit surprised it hasn't cleaned up yet. Probably the cheapest you can get within 10kms of the CBD, has a rail line, and Prospect next door is slowly gentrifying.

It's slowly getting there I think. New builds going in every day - still doesn't feel safe yet though - and that's coming from someone whose originally from Darwin

i liked my 4 days there back in 2015. i must return
Come play some poker in Hahndorf this weekend.

But get here Thursday for the good weather

You're referring to the dodgier parts of Prospect around Churchill/Regency Road yeah? The median house price as a whole for the suburb is $1m+.

* me it's hot today, going to go down to Henley to have a swim this arvo.

And is it just me but are the Adelaide traffic lights slow? i swear every cycle there seems to be a cycle where no one is going at all, weird.
its not too bad, bout to head home and jump in the pool though

it's the traffic lights software, which is shit, i know the old boss at the Dept of Transport and even he said they was shit, he blamed the software that came from Sydney.

It's based on knowing dickheads will still run red lights.

There is a 3-4 second time lag to prevent intersection accidents
Or maybe let people clear intersections.

If you want to turn right, you can move out into the intersection. If traffic going the other way is heavy, you might not get a chance to turn until the lights are red.

Hey does anyone know anywhere that does heat pressing for geurnsey numbers? Young fella decided 2 weeks out from Gather Round he wants 22 on the back of his hawks geurnsey. Ordered the numbers from Hawthorn but just need to find somewhere that can add them on. Anyone know anywhere ?
