Ever had Stella Artoise? Hoping that's not an example of the good quality Belgian beer you're talking about
... honestly, I reckon I would choose kangaroo piss over that crap.

Carlton Draught on tap normally. My favourite is probably Toohey's Old. As for overseas beer, Kronenbourg is a mighty drop. Also partial to Melbourne Bitter, Casacade Pale Ale, Crown Lager, Boag's Strongarm, VB and Coopers Sparkling.
On tap it has to be Carlton Draught...easily the best. In a bottle I'd say Cascade Premium....and from the imported beers Heineken and a Czech beer a friend got me onto called something-something Kotzky. it comes in 500ml bottles and is absolutely fantastic...try and track it down if you can.
