it cant be topped, probs only the beatles have it over them

With a name like that.. a comment like that is hardly unexpected ;) But imo they aren't overall great albums. Some good songs but I'm not a fan of atleast half on each.

haha yeah i suppose my colours are bit too easy to see, ah you sound like my brother, he likes 4-5 songs each radiohead album but hasnt grasped the feel of the albums in thier entirity...(yet, everyone comes around;))

Pink Floyd - The Dark Side Of The Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals
Tool - Undertow, Aenima, Lateralus
Alice In Chains - Facelift, Dirt, Self Titled

I dont know about best 3 albums in a row but if you add 'The Wall' they definately have the best 4 albums in a row

Best 4 in a row:

Beggars Banquet
Let It Bleed
Stick Fingers
Exile On Main St

From memory Elton John's first 4 or 5 albums went Gold.

Rubber Soul / Revolver / Sgt Pepper - The Beatles
Agree with these 3 for The Beatles.

Metallica - Master of Puppets/ ...And Justice For All/ Metallica
or Ride The Lightning/ Master Of Puppets/ ...And Justice For All
Agree with the RTL/MOP/Justice but I'd prefer Kill 'Em All over the Black Album in the other trio (but only just).

Others personal favourites that haven't been mentioned yet:

A Tribe Called Quest - Peoples Instinctive Travels..., Low End Theory, Midnight Marauders.
Kraftwerk - Trans-Europe Express, The Man-Machine, Computer World.

OK Computer isn't a great album? You obviously haven't listened to it enough, it's as close to musical genius as I have come across. Only Tool's Aenima can rival it imo. Both those albums are mindblowing and are on another level to anything else I've heard.

The Bends and Kid A are both great albums too but suffer in comparison to OK Computer.
