That's what we all thought last year but it didn't happen. If they believe they can get $3 million + for each house then they won't undercook the reserves IMHO. I haven't seen them do it yet in 17 seasons.

That sucks.


I moved (and helped one person move) twice in one year and it was both ****ing searing heat.

I can't fathom who would buy these houses seeing all the issues with them. Cracks in the walls that they aren't replacing, rapid re-stumping, shortcuts everywhere, invariably shitty painting. They're still doer-uppers when they're sold.

When I was in Melbourne a few months back, we drove past. Thr houses where apparently finished, but there were trades everywhere. There was a stack of plaster board in the garage of house 3.

Clearly, they get a nice fix up after the show is finished so they can sell them.

Otherwise you are correct who would buy that crap.
