Gotta love the honourable loss to Nerf :D

Give my team a couple more weeks before I start winning.

How are you going Nerf, MG_13, ScottyD, Tarkyn24, thatday? :D:D:D

Still bitter about last night? Too bad Didak lost it for ya. Right in front and MISSES! :D

Thomas, Lower, Campbell...guns. :D:D

I wasn't exactly happy after the loss, as a few random objects could tell you. I'm still not happy, but thats football.

The bounce was legal wasn't it? As long as it didn't touch the umpire it was valid, and he told the players to play on.

I did pretty shit in Dream Team, but still won.

I have no idea why I left Swanny as captain, but got 1,782. And won. :D

Still need to make a few more changes before my team is how I want it.

It appears we go undefeated again fc.

Round 18 looks like a cracker! :p

I'm not sure if it was legal or not, but if it is thats an issue in itself. How a ball can favour a side so heavily in a contest that is supposed to be even and is called play on is beyond me. That is one of the rules the AFL should change. There was one North supporter sitting near us last night that was just asking to get hit after that happened. Collingwood supporters were obviously booing the goal as we thought it was unfair, he starts yelling in our general area that we should turn it up coz all we ever do is bitch and he yelled a couple of other derogitory terms at us. It was funny watching a fairly large amount of Pies supporters being held back by there girl friends and wives. I was just yelling back at him about the Gold Coast.:D

The AFL need to change that rule so umpires can call back bounces like that. It happened to Carlton against Richmond in the season opener and it resulted in a goal when Carlton had a 20 or so point lead this goal gave Richmond a bit of momentum and soon after Richmond took the lead.

My point is i like to blame that bounce for Carlton losing that game.:p

Definitely a legal bounce, which is why the rule is so wrong.

A bounce that can favour a side so much needs to be recalled.
Any rule that goes against Collingwood is perfectly legal. So why would the AFL want to change it?

Hahahaha.

Anyone else find it a touch ironic that Collingwood supporters are bitching about umpires?

We've had to put up with it for the last 10 years, meanwhile you've continued to have the better of the umpiring decisions.

Diddums.

Not much we can do though FC, we are only supporters, we can just sit back and laugh at Collingwood :thumbsu: xD

Don't mean to rain on your parade guys, but if you take a look at frees for and frees against for the last couple of seasons you will see that Collingwood is actually one of the more hard done by clubs. I believe we were 14th last season and 13th the season before for frees for.

Sorry to rain on your parade peeps..

Perhaps you could check the R4 2008 results for me, I forgot who Carlton played and what the result was, I also forgot if Carlton's opposition made it the worst streak in Carlton's history and if the opposition scored over 100 points :p

Let me know when you have an answer!

GO BLUES!

Whats that got to do with umpiring?

...Can't believe I actually said rain on your parade peeps, an embarrassing day indeed.:o:o

Nothing at all, just rubbing it in that Carlton beat Collingwood :D :thumbsu:

Collingwood have forever had favourable draws compared to the rest of the Victorian teams, so, to say they're hard done by in the umpiring stakes makes me happy, because they don't deserve anything better than that

For the first time in how many years?

It has nothing to do with us what draw we get, where teams ask to play us is out of our control. The fact we have also played Carlton and Essendon twice over the last few years means nothing, as when we were shit and you were good we still played you twice, I don't remember anyone bitching back then.

That's not what I'm getting at, it's the fact that you've constantly played WCE down here, or Freo down here, barely ever travelling to Perth, always playing Adelaide/Port down here, but never over there in the same season, you always had 4 interstate trips, while one season, Carlton had 7, just things like that, how Eddie rigs the draw is what I was getting at.

Your favourable draw meant more games in Melb, more chances of winning, because when WCE were at the peak of their power, no-one beat them in Perth, so you never had to go there to play them.

We played them there last season, we are playing against Freo at Subi in Rd 22, we go to Adelaide every season, we go to the almost every season, we also go to Sydney every season. You can't honestly expect us to play all of the interstate sides at their home ground? There are only 6 of them.
