What do you make of the supposed call, that we are the only team not playing a zone defence? Is it true, are we a pioneer or are we stupid?
Absolutely , a gameplan/strategy you havent got the resources to execute is pretty much useless imo.Do you stop playing your gameplan because you're not currently able to execute it?

Is there no mitigating factor in there? What if the reason you cannot execute your gameplan is down to the injuries to key players you have out?Absolutely , a gameplan/strategy you havent got the resources to execute is pretty much useless imo.
A gameplan/strategy needs to make the most of what you have got.
Yeah fair question. Is there no mitigating factor in there? What if the reason you cannot execute your gameplan is down to the injuries to key players you have out?
Where do you draw the line, is I suppose what I'm asking.
I would see Gov playing a similar role to Marchy. Who is filling that role at the moment? Or isn't it being filled at all?The only way I can see him coming into the backline is for Parks, who I personally would prefer instead.
I think that's sort of why we brought in Parks. I personally think that a backline of Weiters, Jones, Gov and Parks is too tall.I would see Gov playing a similar role to Marchy. Who is filling that role at the moment? Or isn't it being filled at all?
Don't worry, it's just an iron on.Just found this , someone is confident . [emoji23]
Luke Hodge line coachThere’s 2.5 mins to go in the Poet v Bulldogs game in Adelaide. The Bulldogs are 20 points up and home. they beat us by less than that. Maybe Teague is on the money when he repeatedly says that our team has ability. But we need to strengthen our defensive play.
Which defenders from other clubs do we need?
I have a feeling Saad may be a late out.Should throw Williams to HBF and move Saad to the wing . Saad will be a lot more damaging off abwing I reckon
Wut. You just said we do have ability. We don't need any other defenders. We're fantastic down back.Which defenders from other clubs do we need

I have a feeling....I have a feeling Saad may be a late out.
Would be the biggest comeback in a season to win a premiership since we did it in 1945.Just found this , someone is confident .![]()

If we are so good down back why teams repeatedly get high scores against us?Wut. You just said we do have ability. We don't need any other defenders. We're fantastic down back.
I thought that was obvious to anyone and everyone. Our between the arcs pressure is non existent, surely I don't need to spell it out further. If we are so good down back why teams repeatedly get high scores against us?
You do. Keep goingI thought that was obvious to anyone and everyone. Our between the arcs pressure is non existent, surely I don't need to spell it out further.
Thanks for that; didn't see the transition to defense in 2019.Oh I'm sorry my bad...
Richmond's own website must have got it wrong

Just confirms, with some level of stats, that the defense of our clearances is unwarranted. The setup doesn't work at all and it's the worst I've seen it ever as a blues supporter. Laying blame is hard but the person directly responsible has to take the brunt. Not really telling us anything we don't already know, beyond the added 'Petracca will be licking his lips' and the 'Melbourne midfielders smarting after' stuff.
So ugly watching alsoClearly nothing to do with our coaches or system though...
Stats don't tell the whole story, and I rely mostly on my eyes at the ground to shape my thoughts. The Collingwood game has turned me off attending another live match this season until the whole group (players and coaches) prove they have turned things around.
