I hated that one, it's such a clunky cringey phrase

The phrase might have worked as a marketing slogan in 1999 (i.e. when The Rock first started using the phrase). But to use it in 2010, ten years later, with no connection to The Rock was just weird and cringey.

*’s ”Whatever it takes” slogan in the same year they got caught drugging their entire list was way ahead of the curve.

It would be too much of a coincidence to suggest the slogan had nothing to do with their drug taking. So arrogant when you know what ended up happening.
