Melbourne board is great. I thought they were talking about us early 2023 form with their Long down the line bullshit and fumbling.

And I love the repeated 'learnings taken from the game'. What a load of absolute rubbish these coaching groups come out with when they lose. Carlton took 13 weeks in 2023 to learn not to kick it down the line every single time last year (like down the exact same side of the ground EVERY time). 13 bloody weeks the morons. When your side loses the last thing you need to hear is your foot in mouth head coach say 'but we can take the learnings away from this one'.....and then bloody ignore everything and be stubborn!

Can't wait for vossy to play the learning's card lol. But would be more than happy to accept Fagan having to espouse the learnings bullshit tomorrow.

Ran into the legend that is one Mr Eddie Betts at Casey stadium this morning during the South East Junior Basketball Tournament. My boy was playing on the same court after Eddie's (that's mine in the 32).
Didn't want to bother him for a pic while he was with his family, but gave him a little go Baggers as he was on his way out after the game and he replied with 'lid's off baby'.

Probably a bit small to tell, but he's tough. He went in for a drive and got shoved to the ground. Everyone gasped when he went down. Got straight up and lined up for his free throws like nothing had happened.
You could see the influence from a dad who has been in the professional system. He tucked the ball under one arm, closed his eyes for a second and took a deep breath to gather himself.
So he's got some good traits at an early age.

Hi all, heading to Adelaide for Gather Round and hoping to get some inside information.. Whilst we’re heading to the Baggers/Freo game, on the Friday we’d like to hit a pub with good grub and some decent screens to watch the Norf game. Friends of ours are mad Kangas supporters and have young kids as well so a big screen would be ideal. We’re staying around South Terrace, however any watering hole within the CBD will be fine, if anyone has any recommendations that would be much appreciated!

always went to the lion in north adelaide when I was over for the cricket.........was a great pub, mind you that was a fair while back..........

Plenty of pubs, casino & they set up Riverbank bars on the southern side at the back of the Convention Centre.

Elder Park has an event centre with lots of lovely booze & big screens too.

It’s only a 5 minute walk over the bridge from there to AO.
