There's the blokiness but I thought you were talking about something somewhat more important; We can't seem capable of just saying what we really want to say for fear of being ostracised or not collecting 'emotional likes'

Not a topic for here but it's somewhat sad that we've become mentally neutered and as a consequence, become products residing in echo chambers.
If a guy is good looking it's OK to say "That guy is good looking" or other like-statements, without attaching riders and cliches, to somehow not offend someone........isn't it?

I just didn't feel like taking what was a fairly light-hearted piss take of the things young blokes say into an indepth and serious discussion on how social realities can use linguistic tricks and pervert meaning before the match this afternoon.

I think you are all missing the point. There's gonna be pain, but when we weed out the crap at all levels of the club...when the young players who we have invested in take the next step. Things will get better.
