I rolled my eyes at Denis Pagan being asked about modern-day Carlton.
But then I realised he was being asked more in the capacity of having had a son at the club you work at, and less as a former Carlton coach.
Which IF you accept the premise/argument of the article, then that's fair enough. He does have a pretty unique perspective on that.

Pagan is a vindictive snivelling prick.
When it turns ,and it will turn, he’ll be nowhere to be seen. The only reason he’s selling real estate and not at any club is because nobody wants the arrogant,narcissistic dinosaur anywhere near a modern day player.
Remember the days when he wouldn’t speak to his assistant coach Barry Mitchell because he knew power brokers were to talking to Mitchell about taking over? Handled that well, not.
Starting to show good signs as a midfielder at NB's, he'll only get better as he gets more exposure in there with game time and a better aerobic base, this will also help his game up forward in rotations where he already possess natural traits as a forward...

I liked what Pagan accomplished in his time at LoLnOrF juniors and transitioning into his senior career at SeNiOr LoLnOrF (he coached many of the juniors then was appointed into Senior level), he was just too far removed from the game when CFC reached out to bring his antiquated ways that were worked out by the rest of the comp in his last few years at NoRf.

I don't follow NB so that is good to hear. I'm hoping we will have three silvagni in the one team soon and all firing. That would be very special. One in defence, one in middle and one up front. Can you imagine we also win a flag.

Recommended putting Simpson on HFF to lead the lads down there. McKay and Curnow will be so much better when they can play their natural roles.
I reckon we traded for McGovern to fulfil this role. He could be key for the whole team to turn this corner

Not so worried about McKay..he is on a similar climb as Weiters but a year behind in football terms.
McGovern is an attacking player and that is its own defence when the team learns to play to that strength

What position/role for Stocker?
Agreed.
I'd like to see Daisy up forward...he can be our forward general/leader, he has the smarts, experience and skill to create some goals. Can take a hanger still too as he showed on the weekend.
We can replace him with Stocker (rumoured in by SBYM), and in a few weeks hopefully Willo.
