When it doesn't suit an arguement.

It also means McGovern, Newman, Marchbank, Pickett, Setterfield and others don't count as any aspect of our rebuild.
They are just as big a part of the rebuild than all the players we drafted.

Has Robbo published his Carlton transitioning from Bolton to Walls think piece yet ? He picks up most of his rubbish from this site apparently.

Quite pleased with our relative lack of media coverage so far, seems most of the whippersnappers know we are still in a transitional phase of our list construction. (If Sellers can keep His trap shut for now that would be great, and i am a big fan of Maclure)
I’m still working on it.

I really think it's our shitty kicking, rather than the game plan, which is stifling our ball movement.

Nope - players are stationary waiting for the ball to be kicked to them they're not spreading so it can be kicked to advantage. They're not using the corridor. Watch the past three games and you will see the player who has the ball the in his hands all players upfield are standing in one spot.

That's not our game plan though. That's young players not working hard enough.

Unlikely and silly excuses. It takes more energy to win the ball in the contest than to sprint 10 meters into space. spreading and kicking the ball to advantage is less sapping. I think its because they are poorly coached.

Would that not fall on the line coaches to develop? Is that not their job to ensure that the players have the skills required and the patterns to run.

Because I have lost total confidence in this coaching group.
Saying you have lost confidence suggests you had some initially.

When did you lose it or did you never have any?

Who are you trying to fool? Hipwood, Schache, Keays and Matthieson were drafted in 2015

Brisbanes first pick in 2014 was pick 44
Brisbane hasn't played finals since 2009. Since then their ladder positions have been 13,15,13,12,15,17,17,18,15. You can't tell us they have only been rebuilding since 2015. What were they doing prior to that, sitting on their hands? What they were mostly doing was drafting players who would ultimately seek trades to other clubs, in the process handing the Lions more draft picks.

With respect to you list of players of players drafted in 2015, in the 2 years prior to this they drafted McStay, Taylor, Robertson (drafted with the pick they received for Polec who was drafted in 2010), Cutler (drafted with the pick received for our Doc who was drafted in 2011) & Andrews an academy player who they were able to draft with Pick 61, whilst also recruiting Robinson, Beams (who has since gone) & Christensen. In addition, Dayne Zorko was drafted in 2011.

I think it is fair to say that Brisbane have been putting together bits & pieces of their current list since they first started bottoming out in 2010.

like to know where Jimmae has gone - may have found a place where they discuss football more on his stratospheric level of analysis......
Well that definitely rules out looking for him on the Crows board.:D

That may be the case but they certainly weren't intent on rebuilding - they sacked Leppitsch because their results regressed every year during his tenure. Equally our rebuild didn't start with Cripps, despite him being so integral to our current results.

Regardless though, the aim of the game is to get ahead of your competition, not trail behind and hope you can eventually follow suit.
