Usual delcon mouthy campaigners in the party didn't get the memo.
Remember how much abbott and murdoch bitched about " instaility " in the ALP ??.......it's been NOTHING BUT instability in the lnp since 2007 !!!!!!!!!!!!
We need to expand our trade relations with various countries. This includes:
It should concern every Australian that China accounts for 36% of our export wealth which is more than Japan, South Korea and the US combined. Our universities make up to $12 billion from Chinese students who come out to study here.
- USA
- Japan
- South Korea
- Taiwan
- Singapore
- Indonesia
- India
- UK
- EU member states
Unfortunately, I don't think much will change because there's simply too many vested interests in the country that want this trading relationship to continue.
Which part did this guy get wrong ?
Answer the questionNot sure if serious
He surrendered he should run France instead, and stop selling Victoria off to China.
You have to ask one firstAnswer the question
I don't have any objection to cutting China loose, as I have stated elsewhere, my concern is that people don't realise just how much we rely on them.
It won't be possible to wind back your top 3 earners without massive pain.
As I have also stated elsewhere, given the whining about the lockdown and its affect on the economy, should we cut China loose, when s**t gets real, there will be massive/widespread economic pain in this country.
Should such a course of action be taken, we could conceivably see the collapse of mining, farming, real estate and tourism, at the same time. Nearly all universities will go broke.
It is fanciful to think that any govt would take such a course of action. It simply won't happen.
What then are the alternatives?
It's also important to point out that taking such a course of action based only on a reaction to China's involvement with the Coronavirus would be mind numbingly stupid.
How bad has Labor been hey bro? Had one win and an overtime win from the last 5 attempts while the LNP have been shyte.libs backing right away from the s**t talking.

You can go back further. Labor haven't been relevant since the Hawke-Keating years. How bad has Labor been hey bro? Had one win and an overtime win from the last 5 attempts while the LNP have been shyte.
You have to wonder what is up with the ALP, state premiers not even pretending they dont answer to Beijing and Albo busy dancing on the fence.Dan's lefty man is worse, the very thought of inquiry into 200k deaths is the 'vilification'
Treasurer Tim Pallas backed pursuit of an international inquiry into the origins of the coronavirus on Wednesday but warned that the "vilification" of China would be "dangerous, damaging and irresponsible"

Beijing acts like an irrational spoilt bully when.someone dares to.suggest we might want to learn from a disaster that has cost hundreds of thousands of lives and they seem determined to just forget the issue. How much money has China donated to them and how much are they thinking about the impact on their own property portfolios.
Australians arent french, we don't collaborate at the first sign of a bully being angry.

He was pretty diplomatic(like the EU, NZ etc unlike the irrational bullying response of China and Trumps random commentary) and someone had to go first. We needed to get to the facts so they can inform the reopening of our economy and borders rather than just do more of the same especially with the risk of multiple waves. But why did ScoMo stick our head out demanding an enquiry alone?
I'm with the commentators who reckon he is arse clown, and should have established a bloc of countries demanding such an enquiry before going public.
I think he was are clown looking to give some meat to his base. Poor judgement.
This is exactly what Australia doesn't comprehend. Karen wants to take on China because they're dodgy, but doesn't want to pay for a locally manufactured car, and is also yet to realise China is the reason she's had it so good for the past 20 + years.
Of those countries you mention we have FTAs in place with all but India, the EU, Taiwan and the UK.We need to expand our trade relations with various countries. This includes:

Neo liberalism is now blamed for what it has always opposed? Totalitarianism.lol.
Straya has been involved in 10 separate wars since WWII with our friends the USA. But "They are petty and fickle bullies"
For the record neo-liberalism created this monster. Again, thanks to our good friends the USA

ive heard it all. This is trump level stupid.
* , what a nothing burger of a post. How bad has Labor been hey bro? Had one win and an overtime win from the last 5 attempts while the LNP have been shyte.
Neoliberals have literally pulled billions of asians out of poverty. Totally worth slower wage growth of unskilled workers in developed countries. Before covid hit the us unemployment was at 50 year lows so lets no promote a false narrative that jobs were lost. Manufacturing jobs eventually switched to other sectors and lets face it the jobs most people in developed economies have now are far more interesting and better for mental health than manufacturing assembly lines.Neoliberalism is directly responsible for shifting as much manufacturing, service industries and now white collar work offshore to whoever the hell is cheapest with little to no regard to the damage it does to their own economy and less regard to the political status of the country they send it to so long as supply is guaranteed.
Neoliberals could not give a s**t about the CCP as long as they deliver.
Shifting everything offshore largely to China is what has made the CCP so powerful.
The USA, and Australia and who ever else have willingly done this to themselves.
I do agree that Trump is stupid.

now I agree there were issues with the transition to china and the west should of been harder on IP protection and forcing china to adopt more liberal ideals such as human rights. neoliberals were massive losers as a result of the ip theft by china. the chinese people were massive losers by not getting human rights. western consumers were the winners by getting supper cheap stuff.
history will look back on the shift of manufacturing from the west to asia as one of the greatest positive humanitarian stories of all time. Thanks neoliberals.
