My memories of the Port Adelaide Magpies bursting onto the Adelaide Oval for a final, GF or ANZAC Day game in the mid/late 50s early 60s will remain with me forever. They came out of the race and looked so intimidating right from the start. Mots with his bandy legs flailing away. That jumper made such a powerful impact, especially on a young kid who had spent more time in the Redlegs rooms than Port.
