You really should get a life, this is just plain sad.
What is the old adage?
People who post in BF forums shouldn't throw "get a life" stones.

Yep ok he might sook but he he won't stop and wait for the whistle, he will keep playing is more apt way of putting it. The sooking is annoying, happy to give you that. This is all a pretty fair post except for the bolded part. Selwood moans after every whistle, free or free against. If there was a player you could say 'wouldn't care' if the frees dried up, it definitely isn't Joel.
Comon the danger clapping was funny.Ablett doesn't count in that scenario, nor does Geelong supporters clapping Danger while at adelaide in that game at Kardinia Pk, that was cringeworthy.

It's basically 14 pages of only Geelong supporters denying that there's a problem.14 pages.
Great storyThe Infrared Smug Detector on the International Space Station had to be re-calibrated, the smug vapour was visible to the human eye from space.
In all honesty Geelong should've be docked premiership points, I'm amazed the Feds didn't charge everyone for Gross Indecent Smugness.

Do you expect Crows supporters to yell "HIGH" for an opposition player, or any supporter from any team for that matter? It's ridiculous to think so.
TouchyNo....but if you open your eyes and read the post I replied to you might see that I was rebuking the notion that Adelaide Oval is a neutral venue compared to Kadina Park.
Come back when you have something intelligent to add to the conversation
Touchy
Well your previous post was over sensitive TBH.No.....I just don't deal well with morons

Don't take things so seriously mate. Not as cringeworthy as all the sooking, crying and abuse of danger and his wife on social by the crows supporters when he left that shit hole. Not even the Hawks supporters sooked that much when buddy left.
I mean sending a crows cheer squad to meet danger at the airport for his first game back in Adelaide.
My god.

Wrong thread I think. It was interesting watching the Hawks v Dockers game last night I felt there were a few crowd free kicks paid.
Overall it was a really well umpired game in my view - 31 paid for the game.
The interesting aspect for me was that there were two or three occasions where a hawks player had infringed sort of (could have gone either way) but the crowd went crazy and there was a significant delay before the umpire paid the free. I didn't see any of these long-delay free kicks for the hawks.
The home ground crowd/umpire advantage is fairly well discussed, but what it shows is that umpires can be influenced. They're human (mostly). If a team coached their players to work at becoming elite at umpire influence then you could definitely have an effect there.
We know it goes the other way - lippy players that never seem to get a 50/50 go their way (and we explain it as fair enough because they're arseholes). So it can certainly go in the pro-free kick direction? Players can positively influence their free kick count (there are a few ruck men that do it. A few small forwards and notably, Joel Selwood among midfielders).
So it shouldn't be so surprising and shocking that there's at least one coach among the 18 that puts a lot of time into it.
Clarkson went the other way and it took nearly 10 years to remove the reputation of unsociable. Pushing the limits, blocking off the ball, creeping over the mark, etc.
Beveridge clearly saw a weakness in the application of HTB rules and designed a running game that made good use of it. Again, this isn't to earn free kicks but to push your actions to the limit without incurring free kicks against.
So what if the same effort was put into earning frees in front of goal? Or whenever you're tackled? Or whenever the ball goes over the boundary? Is it so weird to suggest that a team would do that?
Only ones that don't actually watch them play. Are there any neutral supporters who think Geelong are not constantly ducking and diving for frees?
Well your previous post was over sensitive TBH.
I didn't attack you personally yet you're very quick to do so, whatever.
My reply was directed to this comment of yours-
"About 5 mins later - pretty much exactly same spot on the ground.....not 10 meters from the boundary line right in front of us - a Brisbane player near has his head taken off (comparatively) - not a sound from the crowd -> play on"
I mean its groundbreaking stuff your explaining here, a crowd made up of 90% of supporters from one team are quiet when an opposition player is tackled high. Far be it for me to state the obvious about a post that's stating the obvious.
Hope your day gets better for you than what it seems it is now.
Groundbreaking, I'll make sure Musk knows of your rare insight to the blaringly obvious.Even after I spelt it out for you, you still didn't get it.
You can selectively quote parts of my post to suit your agenda, but the whole post tells another story.
It appears my instincts were correct
