Good analysis by Cruyff I have to say. You're really becoming a balanced and unbiased commentator these days!

Bit harsh on Davies & Trippier SM. Dont think many sides would have better back up full backs than them.

United have pretty decent depth at LB, Chelsea have a few who I'd suggest are better, as do Man City. Liverpool as well have pretty decent depth in full backs. Even Arsenal have a few.

Trippier and Dier aren't terrible by any stretch but I don't rate them in the same bracket as other contenders.

United: Shaw (long term injury) & Blind/Rojo at LB. Wouldn't say those latter two are all that great at LB. Borthwick-Jackson & that Mensah guy look promising but too early to say they're better options at FB than a Davies or Trippier.
Chelsea: Baba Rahmen? He hasn't been that great and they've got no other options other than he and Ivanovic & Azpi. So wouldn't say their backups at FB are great.
Man C: Sagna-Zab & Clichy-Kolarov probably the best squad depth of full backs in the league. Not even sure who is 1st choice they're all pretty good
Liverpool: Jose Enrique, Joe Gomez (played less than 10 PL games), Brad Smith (meh). Only Flanagan of their backups would be considered a top 4 player at this point.
Arsenal: Gibbs is a very good backup and would be ahead of Davies. But at RB who've they got behind Bellerin? Chambers & Debuchy aren't great at all.

There is no way Davies/Trippier aren't on par or ahead of guys like Baba Rahmen, Brad Smith, Chambers & Borthwick-Jackson etc.

You're taking Shaw out because of his injury which is slack. Rojo, Shaw and Blind on the left alone is pretty impressive.

Bellerin/Chambers and Monreal/Gibbs is pretty decent depth for Arsenal.

I dont rate Rojo or Blind at LB all that highly so if they're the backup LBs I wouldn't say they are better covered than us there. Would say most Arsenal fans aren't all that over the moon with Chambers. He hasn't kicked on at all

I wasn't taking Shaw out I had him down as 1st choice LB. So Rojo, Borthwick-Jackson & Blind are his backups and I dont think they're any better than Ben Davies

We dont look a great deal worse whenever he or Davies have to come in. Up until his recent real good patch of form (past 2 months I'd say) Trippier was almost pushing for Walker's starting spot.

I think Trippier is underrated on here. Not first team but certainly a solid footballer when he needs to be called upon.

He's not bad but he's a bit unproven which I guess was my criticism. He was decent for Burnley last season so I guess time will tell.

I've always been pretty objective for the most part.

Not gonna blatantly say something negative about a team because I don't like them. Gonna call it how I see it.

Do you guys have a deal locked in with this loan for him to become permanent?
Nope, we paid $1.5M and his full wages for this season.

Funny thing is, the week we signed Sam Byram, we were going to cancel his loan, and Fat Sam was going to pick him up on loan. Then he goes and hurts his knee against Man City giving away a penalty to Aguero.

Typical Jenkinson....
