I think I'm on record as saying Kreuger would be delisted without playing a game and, well, I'm wrong in that at least. I thought the move to defence was desperation since he wasn't up to it as a forward but maybe it's going to work out. Will be handy if it does, hopefully he does well.

what it takes to be a truly elite KPD is huge. But to be an ‘adequate’ one is a lot easier than it is to be an adequate KPF so I’m all for this sort of thing. If one avenue doesn’t work, try another one and see how you go.

I always thought Zuthrie was decent Cover for injuries at best and never thought he would put in a BOG performance.

And no i am not saying he can or will do it regularly but i didn't think he had it in him at all so kudos for proving me wrong Zach.
Pages 3 & 4 of the game day thread make for fun reading with a few meltdowns about the late inclusion of Zuth

Then there's a few more complaints across the first quarter before peeps start to quieten down in the second half

On that performance, Mark O'Connor should be 100% right before he returns- imho, he has been nqr this year.

I think everyone can put their hand up with Zuthrie to differing degrees, myself included.

Credit where its due and well done to him.

And its a win for the system and giving kids a chance and time to develop - and by that I mean that when he was drafted and hell , even at the start of the season, i doubt anyone could have gotten odds on him putting up a BOG.

But again, there is merit to giving kids time on a list and letting them develop. This the ultimate failure for the instant gratification crowd.

I’m nearly ready to repent on Tom Atkins. Nearly.

Where would you like to see Stewart play?
Stewart has a bit of glen jackovich about him. Not good at grabbing the ball and doing a 180 degree and heading the other direction in one motion. He just gets the ball and charges foward. Also stewart probably not great at marking one on ones. Much better at drifting off an oponent and intercepting another contest. i.e. a great reader of the play. A bit like ken hinkley. Dont need that skill so much as a foward given they are deliberately trying to kick the ball to you. Therefore defence.

Yep, same with me - I didn't think he could find enough of the ball at AFL level but I was wrong.

Same goes with Brad Close. The game where I turned around on him was last year's QF against Port - we got absolutely smacked but he played well. He did the same again with Sydney this year.

Same again with Jack Henry, who I didn't think had many more strings to his bow except the third-man-up mark.
