They won in spite of him someone said lol

And this was the one player I thought got a little annoyed with anges decision to rest him at times

it'll be interesting how it affects the players cos i cant recall seeing such an outpouring for a coach who was at a club for a comparatively short amount of time.

Martinelli is on £180,000 a week. Why wouldn't Arsenal pay Mbeumo the same?

Spurs can also offer CL but as has been pointed out they might only pay him £120k. If his agent is talking to United he will be pointing out that duds like Sancho and Mount are on £250k and Antony is on £200k.

Hopefully very soon none of our incoming players will be able to do that when Antony gets sold….. and some club wants to do us a favour and buy Sancho.

Ange could get a free swing at Sevilla who are severely cash strapped but should be doing better than they are

If he could fix their defence and be smart with the $ he could get them back ot their best
The timing of the sacking has stuffed him over

He'd have been great at Atalanta, Roma, Ajax, Juventus all who've recently appointed new managers.

Maybe RB Leipzig?

Italian & (Spanish) clubs would be horrible for Ange, their owners have less patience than Levy. Wonder given Ange has two young kids he'd prefer to stay in England & not uproot the family again. Someone mentioned the Japan national side, which is a fair shout, but get the impression he'd want to manage on a weekly basis at this stage.

Big one that missed out is Leverkusen, replaced Alonso with Ten Haag. Ange comes, no pressure losing Wirtz and Frimpong and gets to rebuild a squad that likes playing attacking football. That's the one.

Leipzig could be interesting, he does prefer young talent to work with over senior

Why would Leverkusen coming off Xabi who has done well enough to win a title and DFB Pokal double and got poached by arguably the biggest and best club in Europe replace him with a manager that had his side 17th with 38 points.

Delusions of grandeur thinking that calibre of club would be in line for Ange's next job.

I'd say it balances out with the media being less stupid than the English gotcha style

That would suit him but I still reckon he goes to coach the Japan national side (knows their systems well) and waits 12-18 months for a better domestic team job to come up.

Frank it is. We'll see what happens I guess.
Silver linings that some yids on here pledged their abandonment of support if we sacked Ange so there's that to look forward to.

Until levy is sacked Spurs will never improve so it won't matter who does or doesnt abandon their support.

Why would Frank want to kill his career like that. Is he an A grade moron?

Brentford to Spurs is clearly a step up in terms of size of club and ambition. Brentford will always be at best a mid-table PL club. In the last few seasons Spurs have generally been around the top 5 and next season they have a CL place.

Frank will want to test himself at the higher level and will probably double his pay. Also it seems like failing at Spurs isn't career defining. Everyone does it.

Interesting assertion. Not backed by 20 years of empirical data mind you.
10 years ownership prior to purchase in 2001 vs 2001-2019: a period of steady table, financial and european competition participation improvement shows that hasn't been true.

But we have reached our ceiling in recent years, that regardless of ownership is a glass ceiling we'll probably never break thru. Nothing we do current owner or handing it over to someone new (excluding sportswashing oil money) will have us surpass Liverpool, City, Chelsea, Arsenal and United all at once. Which combined with being top 3 in wages (high correlation to title winning) is what is needed to achieve that level of success.

Spurs fan who abandoned his support 12 months ago is now slagging off other Spurs fans for abandoning their support.
