That is only 59-60 points over the season or 9th place
Well if Spurs would’ve got 21-22 more points that’s less points for other teams so they more likely be higher than 9th. Probably keeps his job.

They won in spite of him someone said lol

And this was the one player I thought got a little annoyed with anges decision to rest him at times

That one donkey who said majority of London wanted him out is talking complete shit. It's an unpopular decision all over, especially with the players. That's 8 senior players who have made very public thank yous to ange.

Whats lost in this conversation is the underwhelming list of possible replacements in comparison to Ange

Thomas Frank
Marco Silva
Pochettino
Scott Parker
Farioli after his bottle job

Just not worth the large fee to get them out of their current jobs as none have proven records to take us to another level which is pushing 3rd-5th in the league and trophy winning.

Pochettino came close nearly a decade ago with our greatest ever striker. And a squad that would slap the current squad silly. Doubt any of this current group would make a combined XI, maybe Romero over Toby. People who say we can't let the romance of the trophy blur judgment would be highly hypocritical if they were happy reappointing Poch. He'd struggle to get this current group top half of the table. As shown by his end to his time when again he had a far better squad than we have now.

Frank has punched above his weight. And the Swiss Ramble style analysis makes him perfect for ENIC. Don't think he gets regular top 4 finishes. Has never prioritized the cups at Brentford.

Silva is a bit meh. Sure if a manager walked out and we were in a position of weakness he wouldn't be a disgraceful option. But off the back of winning the EL and having CL football, that's a weak name to go for.

Scott Parker if he wasn't a former player, English and didn't dress well wouldn't seriously be considered. Similar to Silva, in a position of weakness, starting a project from scratch, have a look at him maybe. But not where we are now.

Xavi or Klopp the only two that interest me in the slightest. Unless it's these 2 or someone left field with far better credentials than Poch, Silva, Parker or Frank next season will be a step backwards instead of taking steps forward from this fork in road moment. 300k people at a trophy parade, biggest football celebration London has seen in a long time, sleeping giant waking sort of stuff as Ange said, first time in 30 years we've won a trophy post Feb, and we are taking these sideways at best steps.

The losers of that final signing guys like Cunha and Mbuemo while we wait to appoint a manager who'll be okay with Tyler Dibling and Wilson Odobert. Audere est facere

What it shows is a pattern in his teams. He started well in both seasons but it went downhill pretty quick. This year with a few injuries it showed. Team won inspite of him not because of him.

Huh? He has emphatically won every league he has entered except EPL. Up a level or two in EPL more difficult . But he wins Europa league with 36 teams.. he had to rebuild at start , change their style and build depth which was sadly lacking. The squad is 25 and yet typical of Ange he tried in each competition went to semi of one and won the other. At the same time he had the worst injury record of any team in the EPL thereby exposing the lack of depth ( which coincidentally was caused by Levy not hiring mature senior players ) and still won the Europa league..Instead of being lauded by the amazing accomplishment the same idiot sacks him. Surely you can't be that stupid. Yep seems he is. Total fool. So this fool somehow expects them to win multiple competitions without the requisite players to even be competitive in depth. Shake my head..fool.. I have little doubt that Ange realised Levy WAS/ IS the problem and won admission to champions league to force Levy to buy in the support in player depth in transfer window. He won't of course because unlike the truly top teams he continues to strangle tightly the reins on spending which then destines the squad to be next step just below top standard..without Ange they are going to be embarrassing in champions league.

Mbeumo worth 120 max a week. Shame he is choosing wages over CL football. We were definitely interested.
Rejecting us for them is about overall ambition though. They're backing their manager with Cunha plus him. Double the pay check as well. Can't see why he'd go to us over them

More of your BS without any evidence.
What are you basing it on? It's June 8. Transfer market ambition surely gets assessed after the window not at its infancy.

Yes they're backing Amorim, the brought him in on big money after a payout to get him iirc, after being sucked in by ETH cup win that resulted in poor league form and an early season sacking. Wonder if other clubs would look at that and not make the same mistake...

We weren't even linked to Cunha this window so all the waffle about rejection and ambition is just sour grapes because he was on your stupid (and not feasible) sensible transfers list.

Mbuemo choosing Manchester United over a football club who is paying seven players between £180k to £280k a week might actually be an indictment on Arsenal and nothing to do with choosing wages over CL football.
He's a Man Utd fan and Arsenal need a proper no 9 instead of playing him there out of position because they already have Saka in his role. He'd help but they have bigger issues

Apparently Arsenal did try to buy him, but as you said he supported Manchester United so it looks that that’s where he will go.

Martinelli is on £180,000 a week. Why wouldn't Arsenal pay Mbeumo the same?

Spurs can also offer CL but as has been pointed out they might only pay him £120k. If his agent is talking to United he will be pointing out that duds like Sancho and Mount are on £250k and Antony is on £200k.
