Has anyone ever kept a score on his "Sliding Doors"? Nostradamus used to say basically any old thing and every now and then one of them would come true, or at least appear to.
If it was a true sliding doors you couldn't keep score. For some reason it annoys the hell out of me that he continues to use that term incorrectly. I need to get a life.

You're not alone. Maybe we need to start a support group, SDA.

When they play that blurb that one of them has a commercial agreement with some s**t used car company I'm amazed they don't have one saying that elbows is a paid employee of the crers.

I've considered in my more bored moments making a complaint to the relevant authority (cant remember who it is at the moment) about that for shits and giggles, but usually just decide its much more fun to watch him flummox and fumble his way through building up the crers only for them to be utterly disappointed.

Someone did exactly this on reddit earlier this year (or maybe last year)

He got about 2 things right for the year it was hilarious.
To be fair he uses an if, then format. He isn't saying the first will happen the "predictions" only apply to the "then" prediction.

If... Margot Robbie gave me a gobbie

Then... I would be very happy.

The 2nd part is definitely true but it has nothing to do with the likelihood of the first statement happening.

Yes.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Sliding Doors should pose an Either this / or that question

Rather than his If/then statements
You are correct. As Fade to Gray pointed out Barrett uses IF/THEN which is cause and effect NOT sliding doors.

I like how adelaide now release the crows best and fairest tabloid rubbish without a paywall, then paywall important news about emergency services and bushfires.

Methuselah Cornes said Adelaide should look at a trade for Hamish Hartlett but only if it involves a second or third round pick and salary sharing. This really is the extent of their thinking as an ambassadorial group.

They really should be thinking about the extent of their midfield depth ...

Matt Crouch – who finished seventh – was the only other midfielder besides Sloane in the top 10 in the club's best and fairest count on Friday night.

There's no thinking involved here Ford, they're just the messengers.

He wont be at Adelaide next season.

Reminds of the excuse used to explain Burgo's decision to reject the Crows' approach a few years back. The Crows weren't prepared to pay his asking price, implying we overpaid. On top of that, how could a club in financial strife possibly afford him. Spin, spin, spin.
