I'm all for potting the media, coz we don't get fair representation.
However, Robbo, Healy, Montagna etc have been kind to us this year on occasion.
King is a moron, ditto Goosage, and Sumich.
Poor old Haggers aint going so well.
But we are getting fair kudos from Barich (starting to understand you can't pot 1 team in a two team town, only took 20 years, admittedly he did play for the budgies), and FootyRhino has been a breath of fresh air.
So don't give me the poor Dockers narrative, coz I think we are getting a fair run!!

I don't see it. It's clear he watches our games (plus many others)and thinks highly of a number of our players.

To me his comments have, if not a coaching-like tone, at least a mentor/well-wisher flavour to them. I see him as honest and thoughtful.

It's pretty obvious he doesn't know half our players or watch half our games and tries to roll out tropes in order to appear knowledgable. I guess that works for some. Switta not palying last year having nothing to do with his skill level or workrate is just one example.

Clearly Gawn needs to go forward more and have more scoreboard impact if he wants to take that next step as a player.

Robbo watches most if not all games which is more than Gerald and most other commentators do. It shouldn’t be a point of difference but somehow it is.

They spent so long laying into Acres and Aish I couldn't listen anymore, talking about situations like Aish kicking it out on the full that never even happened? So dissapointed. The hawks supporters were complaining Healy barracks for us in the box. I think he is alright.

If you watch the game again Healy clearly likes seeing us do well and just gets frustrated when we don't go as well as he would like/expect. I also get the feeling he had some money on us on the weekend on the margin.

Yeah healy is no different to big footy match day thread when everyone gets frustrated.

Healy has always had time for freo and has higher expectations on us which is good i enjoy his commentary.

Sometimes you can tell which commentators would enjoy us breaking through for our first premiership, and who would try to ignore it and move on asap. Healy I think would enjoy it.

Overall I like Healy, but he's clearly not as sharp as he once was and he's not improving.

My biggest complaint about him this year is making a dramatic statement two minutes into the game. He has repeatedly declared us in 'big trouble' within the opening period of games and it takes him a while to crawl out of his doomsday prophecy.
