Bit late on it, but the commentary during the St Kilda v Carltank game last week was deplorable. Every single time that McEvoy went near it.

one thing ive noticed on the tv, which is a bi-product of the camera being zoomed in to far on channel 7 all the time, is that you never get to see the umpires decisions anymore, you have to wait for the commentary team to tell you what the decision is, its fricken annoying..

They also don't replay a lot of the decisions, they used to do it a lot if there was any doubt, but its either been a directive to stop or the fact there are too many frees stops them from really doing it.

Might also be they were criticized for missing bits of live play while doing replays, so now they have gone too far the other way and not shown anything.

The worst and I mean absolute worst is calling davey Ryder and vice versa. How can you get that wrong most weeks? Liegh matthew is a shocker for not knowing names. Hell I actually think less of him the more he commentates. Starts complaining about Ruck contests being unfair if there is a 3rd man up.
