Let me throw this out there

Nathan Fyfes disposal efficiency

2013 - 60.9% (bottom 10 in whole league for those over 10 games and 3rd worst amongst midfielders)
2012 - 56.9% (worst in league for players above 10 games)
2011 - 61.5% (bottom 10 in the whole league for those over 10 games and 3rd worst amongst midfielders)

How can literally the worst disposer of the football in the AFL over the past 3 years (he has everyone covered by the length of Flemington too, except for Ryan O'Keefe) be considered such a all out superstar? Ive seen the likes of Daniel Jackson cop flak over there disposal week in week out yet Jacksons disposal efficiency vs Nathan Fyfe is nearly 15% better off.

How can a guy who hits his target this little be considered for a AA spot by everyone? It seems to me people judge him on disposal stats as opposed to what he does with those stats. People want to consider him elite. The fact of the matter is that until he learns how to kick he isnt there yet.

Ha ha what a dumbass.

At first I thought this thread was the world's worst trolling attempt. But the OP's dazzling use of statistics, and sheer persistence, have now convinced me, and I can't for the life of me imagine why we would wish to keep Nate. I'm calling Freo head office first thing tomorrow and demanding he be traded for some steak knives.

Kicking is only one attribute in football, he does everything else very well, would be in every teams 22.
His kicking is below average but at the same time it doesn't hurt his game as much as it would others.

As a supporter you're not surprised when Fyfe kicks a clanger but at the same time you're not surprised when he kicks a goal from 50 on the boundary off his non-preferred. It's just a symptom of constantly trying the impossible. I think X-factor is the best way to describe his kicking. Add to that one of the best pair of hands in the league as well as his ball winning ability and yeah, reckon he's going okay.

*their
*Fyfe's

Obviously there is more than that wrong with the post (ie the content), but I'll start small.

If you're going to be a douche and correct someone on grammar, please do it correctly.

Fyfe's = fyfe is

I think you're looking for Fyfes'.

I'll just start small.

Yeah, nah.

Fyfes' implies a possessive apostrophe for Fyfes. Are we talking about one Fyfe or multiple Fyfes?

He, like Brad Ebert, can be an average field kick, but excellent kick on goal. Overall though, he can be a much better kick than Ebert.

Fyfe has a technically sound kicking action, when not rushed. But he does often try to do a little too much, plus has the odd awful shank when kicking across his body or slamming the ball onto his boot in congestion.

Masten used to do this and has for the most part improved to the point where he is our best short kick into the forward 50.

I have always said, a guy as dedicated and hard working as Fyfe just needs time to iron out the crinks and develop a little more composure in those contested situations.

Not that grammar is important here, but this is entirely wrong in the context of the post you were responding to.

Fyfe's 21 with much improvement still in him :D

He is very higly rated in the comp by everyone that has any standing in the game and by nearly everyone else - Just wait till he's in his prime at 26+ and see hows he's going
