Use the quote button, and just remove the text that you don't want.

When you hit quote you should see something like this picture, then just type your response below it and it should work.

Yeah I used to have to press that button about 50 times when I did the official game threads. Now the game threads are all automatic so now I only have to press it about 5 times.

And while we're on questions about the draft, can anyone explain to me how the draft actually works, what the procedure is and how teams can swap picks, use preseason picks, add players etc.

35 years watching the game and I've never looked into such a vital part of team make up.

If this is a little involved for an answer within the thread, would appreciate being pointed to a relevant thread or webpage.

While not overly complicated, it would take a while to answer this question. Essentially the draft operates on a reverse order to ladder position, eg. 16th gets first pick, 15th gets 2nd pick, etc, but there will be a few exceptions based on priority picks, father/son picks and trades. Probably best to read the Wiki overview to give you a general understanding, and then ask more specific questions in this thread.

Not sure "which" draft he would be in but he would just be in there amongst all the others and if he was "hot property" the team with the number 1 draft pick would pick him up with their first choice.

How does one decipher the Best On Ground line? I just thought it was a random ordering, but some people are reading it as it goes from best to worst.

Presumably in the Paper? I always read it as best, 2nd best, 3rd best etc.
