I think the vibrancy and colours is what I liked most about Thailand.Yeah Morocco and Colorado weren’t that great, but agree with the Thailand one, great setting and map lay-out!.
Was hesitant on TLOU 2 because of the spoilers but loved the first one way to much to not jump into the sequel, and Ghosts of Tsushima looks incredible.

Morocco I found boring, didn't like the map at all. The Colorado setting was great, but I think the level was too long (IE too many tasks).
Monaco was neat too.
I've only seen one trailer and don't know about any spoilers. Both will be great.
Who else rates this is one of the best horror films of all time?
I don’t think much has come out since then that’s troubled it. I live the films with the amazing special effects rather than all the CGI crapdon’t think I’ve watched it in 25-30 years. Therefore it’s hard to gauge for me
Missus watched the 2019 Lion King film today whilst 'working from home'. The graphics on that are outrageously good.I don’t think much has come out since then that’s troubled it. I live the films with the amazing special effects rather than all the CGI crap
Interesting that it was Barca that was criticised for their stance on Suarez.
I don't agree with everything he writes but Liew is easily the best journo in the UK.
Graphics though, it doesn’t really do it for me. Give me make up all day long. The bloke who did the special effects and make up for an American Warewolf in London was a geniusMissus watched the 2019 Lion King film today whilst 'working from home'. The graphics on that are outrageously good.
Part of why the recent Star Wars movies looked so good (cosmetically) compared to the prequels is that they had a huge increase in the practical effects used compared to CGI which dominated the sequels.Graphics though, it doesn’t really do it for me. There’s something about CGI that just looks wrong. It feels like you’re watching a video game. Models, make up etc may not always work as well as it could, but it’s still so much better than CGI. When I was watching Jaws with my little nephew he laughed so hard at the state of the shark when it landed on the boat to munch Quint near the end. I was so disappointed with the little shitbag. I guess kids may see it differentlyPart of why the recent Star Wars movies looked so good (cosmetically) compared to the prequels is that they had a huge increase in the practical effects used compared to CGI which dominated the sequels.
If practical effects are done well, they're ******* great.

Huh really?TPM had the most practical effects of any SW film though.
Huh really?
It has been a while since I've watched but thinking back I don't think TPM was as bad as especially Attack of the Clones, visually.
And maybe it came down to sets and landscape too... like the Casino planet in TLJ was so out of place because it was so obviously CGI compared to everything else.

Maybe AOTC is just really clouding my memoryThe Surprising Practical Effects of the Star Wars Prequels
The Star Wars prequels, seen as a turning point in computer generated imaging, were more model-intensive than you might think.makezine.com
I was 10 when it came out so I ******* loved itLast year was the first time I saw AOTC since watching it in the cinema on release. I’d always hated the film, but had forgotten how much CGI was used. Absolutely horrendous.
