I was a serviceable Keeper back in the day so doesn't bother me haha.

Either that or CB (although i'm about as fast as Mertesacker despite being 6 inches shorter ).

Speaking of Mad Men, I'm just finishing the 6th season now.

That show would have been a million times better if they just focused on the advertising/business part. I'm so ******* sick of watching Don have yet another affair. I get it, he's a man whore. Just pisses me off it continues to be the main story line most of the time.

That's the point of the show though. It's not a show about advertising in the 50's it's a character study on Don Draper.

Cracking show. The final season is amazing. Probably the most well written show ever. Blows me away sometimes.

I'm a lot further behind than I thought, last one o recall was 22. And whilst on the topic, I was living in San Francisco at the time the Australian Outback series was aired (season 2 I believe?).

Genuinely had many people convinced that we all have koalas and snakes and lizards etc in our backyard.

It's had a bit of a resurgence lately, some very good seasons recently.

At its prime, I was amazed at how they could continually improve bit and pieces of the show to keep it fresh, despite it being such a repetitive format overall.

Men v women, old v young, heroes v villains and so on, they just kept you hooked. Barely watch TV these days but I'm sure I'd still like the current version.

That's rubbish then. If I wanted to watch someone have affair after affair, I'd tune into the Kardashians.

The advertising industry in the 60's and early 70's was very interesting. Even in the show, when they discuss business, I'm completely tuned in. When I watch his daughter catching him having his 16th affair, I zone out.
