Only so much the guy can do. He can't help our senior players continually turning it over in defense. He gets no support from teammates at all.

He has been one of your better players but seems to timid to be a leader. Has never come across like a guy who you would follow into battle. Only problem is that I can't think of many others to replace him.

Last line is the issue. I'd be happy to see him relinquish it if I thought someone could do a better job. Unfortunately, we've got no one.

He's just not made to be a captain, take the burden off him and let him play and he could get back to being an elite mid. Simpson or Carrazzo are the actual leaders that do all the talking.

We were good at that last few years, play on at all cost and run through the corridor, stopped doing it this year
