Any loss of life is tragic in circumstances where terrorism has claimed lives.

The Russian plane going down, no different. Terrible whatever way you paint it, crash, shot down, terrorists, whatever. People died who shouldn't have, and that is never a good thing.

People surprised at this though really shouldn't be given the last week in Belgium. Shocking that security wasn't on alert.

There's always some form of security lapse when these sorta things happen at an airport where security really should be rather beefed up normally anyway, it was the same with 9/11 and Dick Cheney. Can't believe the incompetence sometimes

All major plane crashes make the headlines over here - the Russian one last week did.

A terrorist attack in a western capital city is of course going to create more news than a tragic accident though. I would say however, that this one has less impact emotionally than the Paris attacks. That doesn't mean I care any less for those killed in Brussels than those in Paris - but more that it's becoming accepted that this is how things are. Which is a shocking thing in itself

How was the attack in Tunisia last year at the holiday resort reported in Australia. Just out of curiosity. That for me was the one that felt most real to me as I was at a similar resort in turkey at the time and could actually imagine it happening there

A plane crash is an accident (at least the one last week was ) which is much different to deliberate terrorist action.

It's been happening for years and will continue to happen, just near impossible to stop these sort of things. And the scary thing is, is it will only get worse.

I fear it's only a matter of when not if these sort of attacks start taking place here in Australia.

I just dont get how anyone can be so seriously devoted or into something they'd be able to kill an innocent human because of it

They think they're protecting something they love, The way a parent would protect there kids, It's that real for them.

My parents are off to Europe in 4 or so weeks time, will be worried to say the least!!!!!

My parents are in Africa for 5 weeks and will be going along the west coast. Thankfully they are out at sea as they go past the Ivory Coast after what happen earlier this month.

Not surprised by the reviews so far. Snyder always divides critics. His films usually get panned.

Will decide for myself tomorrow. 29 years after reading TDKR for the first time, I'm still coming to terms that I get to see them in the same movie together.
