The pasta dishes I've had in restaurants are no better than the pasta dishes I can make myself at home in about 20 minutes so I usually steer clear of them.

If you're going to eat out you're better off ordering something that's more difficult to make at home or something that requires a proper chef to make.

I got take away from il ciao on the weekend. The food was really good but I wouldnt eat there. Too loud and the line is basically rubbing your shoulders while you eat in some areas.

Fair points but if we had Roe 8 would the trucks even be on Leach?

I just find the thought of having traffic lights here and here
View attachment 456916

on a highway a bit ******* ridiculous.
Has to happen, its a shit crowded spot. If they are smart they will make West bound Leach, signal controlled only on the turn in. Will only mean two phases to the lights. A turn into and out of Norma phase, and a through flow on East bound Leach phase.

Nobu is by far the best restaurant at Crown. All the others overated IMO.

Wifey tells me they're putting in traffic lights at Norma Road/Leach Highway so there'll be a set of lights there then the next set at Winthrop Drive less than 500m away I reckon..
As stupid as it sounds, it really is needed. Can count on one hand the number of times within the last few months that Norma/Leach hasn’t had some form of traffic banked up

If they do it the way Smeg Head suggested it might not be so bad (unless you're heading east) but if they're putting in a right hand turn onto Leach it's going to be ****ed.

What's with Single Fin becoming the default WA version of Coopers on tap? It's pretty shit. And Alby is a mid strength...

Five Bar Mt Lawley has just broken mathematics with its new "deal".

Alby and Single Fin, $2 middies, $4 schooners and $6 pints.

First person to spot the error wins a kiss on the bum

The use of the infidel "Schooner" on proud traditional WA soil
