The pasta dishes I've had in restaurants are no better than the pasta dishes I can make myself at home in about 20 minutes so I usually steer clear of them.

If you're going to eat out you're better off ordering something that's more difficult to make at home or something that requires a proper chef to make.

Had a very nice black pasta with prawns at Kappy’s Restaurant in Guildford. But do find Italian/Japanese mains in Perth to be very average and hit miss.

I hate the idea that because Perth people are bad at some aspects of driving, we simply try to remove it (see: merging). All it does is entrench bad driving habits and slow everything down. Educate and enforce it.

I got take away from il ciao on the weekend. The food was really good but I wouldnt eat there. Too loud and the line is basically rubbing your shoulders while you eat in some areas.

Wifey tells me they're putting in traffic lights at Norma Road/Leach Highway so there'll be a set of lights there then the next set at Winthrop Drive less than 500m away I reckon..

As stupid as it sounds, it really is needed. Can count on one hand the number of times within the last few months that Norma/Leach hasn’t had some form of traffic banked up

If they do it the way Smeg Head suggested it might not be so bad (unless you're heading east) but if they're putting in a right hand turn onto Leach it's going to be ****ed.

Atrium is reasonable. Granted it's a buffet but $60 all you can eat with the range and quality they have is pretty good value I think.
