The fine is $20 I think so there would be lots of no care factor. I’m contemplating not voting in the Perth election as I’m so pissed off that Tim Hammond decided in his second term that being a politician impacted on his family. Hello.....that was evident at the end of the first term

He did have a new baby in between, one that was not planned, I believe.

I think its very important to vote if for no other reason than to put The Greens last.

I have a terrible feeling she is going to romp it home as Gorman doesn’t appear to be a popular choice

I think a lot of people still assume it's elective and not mandatory.

Cannot be ****ed whatsoever but eh I'll slink down. When's busiest?

I went and voted at about 8:15 this morning and there were no lines. Walked straight in and straight out, grabbed a sausage sizzle, and was back in the car in less than 10 minutes. That was the quietest it has ever been when I have gone to vote.

Ignorance up to 11 but wtf is the go with it? Some dual nationality thing? Why is it like six electorates in the whole country?

Completely dead at Fremantle Primary today. As in, doubt anyone else knew it was on. Sausages sizzles are a lame meme but surprised to see/smell there was no organic tofu hot dogs on offer.

I voted and I still have no idea what it was all about.

Of the 5 by elections today, 4 of them are because the MPs were ineligible under the constitution due to being dual citizens when they were elected. The other one (perth) was due to Tim Hammond (labor MP) resigning due to not being able to balance the work with his family

no doubt really annoying etc but this was his first term as MP.
