It's still a bit too cold for my jumper and undies evening homewear.

Everything is a drive distance away and once you get there the majority of people also had to commute because we live so far apart.

I know I live in a holiday destination that grew out of it's little girl shoes before anyone says anything

Go Claremont or Cott, chargers 09. Blokes drive around in little Jeeps with their tops off all day before heading to the OBH with their mate who plays Claremont reserves.

Don't worry about being close to the CBD. There's no circular sprawl in Perth like there is Melbourne. And the city doesn't really have any kind of hub like need, you know, aside from when you go out every weekend. You'd like Cottesloe. Mount Lawley and Leedy aren't your scene. They're like Fitzroy's equivalent.
