The PA bit on the side might be an issue since it's copyrighted by New Era but I doubt they'll care since it's on their cap anyways.

I'm pretty sure Ford contacted the club when the whole 'Yes We Ken' debacle was happening and they said they were fine with people making up their own stuff as long as they didn't make money from it and it wasn't put into 'commercial production' or something of the sort.

You're an ambassador Matt -why don't you do us all a solid and ask the club? :D

I'm more so saying that company can only use New Era stock for Official Sports Club Gear, I went through them about 2 months ago for some stock (for my own brand stuff) and they were unable to do so (they only told me this at the last minute of my order the pests).
 
Has anyone else noticed that the manufacturer of singlets etc from the Port Store are different today than they were last year? I just ordered some tops etc to be sent to me here in Vancouver, and the equivalent singlets are much smaller compared to the stuff i ordered last year. Has anyone noticed the same thing? That XL last year was bigger than XL this year? Kind of a pain in the a*** to be honest - now costs me money to ship back, and then more money to have the correct size re-shipped to me!

The current one is good but isn't crafted as well as it could be. I've got several drafts that I plan to refine further into a final draft to present to the club at some stage.

IMO, the monogram is the best brand asset to come out of the club for years. Perfectly applies to both teams, represents our eras of dominance and is very understated in its design.

I do love the monogram.

So is it based on a logo from our past? I thought it was something new the marketing department designed for the merch.

The worst logo in sports. Funny thing is though, it's got to the 'so bad it's good' stage.
I remember my first visit to the Cottage (may have told this story before), Cardiff had just been promoted and we took a few thousand down. These were the days when the lower leagues still had fences. It kicked off in the stand next to us as a few Cardiff had bought tickets there, so I climbed over the fence and ran over to 'help' out. I got to the home end and was chased by a copper, but I managed to jump back over the fence. I must have been about 18.
Anyway, I got back home and my nan asked if I'd enjoyed the footy as she heard there had been trouble. Nah Nan, not me, you know I don't do that shit.

She then put the video tape of the news report that had the camera following me on my little journey :).

They'd be an absolute campaigner to keep clean as well. The silver/grey cap with black brim is more functional.
