They're still out there, but people are a bit weird about them these days
They're useful in a big crowd. Mum leashed me when we went to Expo 88, because she was on her own and my brother was in a pram. Without it, she couldn't have managed. I remember it being a bit annoying but it didn't exactly scar me.
