This has been covered a few times - I sent out an alert to all users as well - but there has been an issue with the Sydney board.

If you receive those alerts, check the board, the thread and the user. If you are watching any of those, unwatch them. If not, trying watching and then unwatching. Let me know how you get on.
It's now happening for other user(s).

What did people used to do when they went to bed before smart phones?
I mean i reckon 90% of you all go on phones when you go on bed, anywhere from 10-60mins. I do too

I cant remember what i used to do pre-2010
I mean the joke answer is masturbate or have sex. But these things still happen. But are they happening less? Is the smart phone reducing that and other things? Reading?
Did we used to talk to people on dumbphones?

Tv in bedroom I used to have before a phone. Used to read a book but mostly I slept.

TV. I used to watch 2-4 episode of a series or a movie religiously before bed, before phones were smart.

I don't. My phone is out of arms reach when I am in bed. Not that I am tempted to use it in the first place.

When I was a kid I used to read loads of books.

Now I barely read books as internet has too much of a hold on me.

Since I moved out of my parents house the bedroom is for sleeping.
I go to bed when I want to go to sleep.
Screens in the bedroom haven't been a thing since i've had my own place

It's only in fairly recent times that people have had their own beds and private bedrooms. For long periods of human history entire families would share the same bed. When I researched my family history, the 1901 Irish census showed there were 10 family members and a lodger living in a 2 room house.

Growing up my dad lived in a 2 bedroom house. His mum and dad in one room and the 4 kids in the 2nd room.

My grandparents had 6 kids in a 3 bedroom house with one lounge room and an outdoor bathroom.
The three girls shared one bedroom and the three boys shared another.
Your grandparents were Mike and Carol Brady?

I remember listening to a lot of radio.
First all-nighter I pulled was with the trans* on the windowsill turned down low while listening to the overnight tunes until the dawn broke. I would have been 14 or so.

trans == transistor radio you denizens.

Edit: I can't believe that the common shortened term for transistor is in the swear filter here. FFS.

Has anyone set up a golf practice net at home? Any tips? Not going to go the full simulator style, just after a couple of mats and a net for the garage.
No but I’ve seen lots of videos of people smashing windows when it’s not setup properly.
