Got rear ended yesterday, someone crashed into the back of me too!

Jokes aside, the driver was on his learners and alone in the car with no insurance. Exchanged details and now they are trying to push me to give his mothers details so they can claim on insurance.

Anyone have any experience as to what my insurance company will do if the other party isn't insured. I have heard that they won't push them to pay and I'll have to make a claim and take the hit.

A friend has no insurance on his car. It's an old bomb. I asked him the other day what would happen if he hit someone. His reply, "Good luck getting any money out of me".

Don't commit insurance fraud for someone else's benefit.

I got hit while I was parked on my street and didnt have to pay a cent.

Thanks all to the workers/boss who made the employee (they were doing construction work on a house down the road) leave his details on my windscreen.

He was reversing a truck apparently- and they were yelling at him to stop but the ******* didnt. :rolleyesv1:

That sounds like a them problem, not a you problem. Your insurance will deal with them.

You're going to have to make a claim anyway it's up the insurance company how they recoup their money

The most they can do is ask you to pay your excess and if you're not at fault that shouldn't happen anyway

You're even steven!

My first car was a bomb and the advice I was giving from multiple people was to not bother paying insurance for it.

My car is a bomb and I don't bother with comprehensive insurance, I pay $200 per year for third party (no fire, theft), in case I hit a Mercedes and I'm at fault. You wouldn't want to lose your house over a road accident.

Third party on a bomb at least in Victoria is a good idea

If you crash into an expensive car you can be in real trouble

In 1994 I changed lanes on top of a 1988 Jag in my 1968 HK Premier. At the time my car was worth ~$1500 and the Jag ~$80K. I was happy to have insurance.

Now the HK is worth $80K and the Jag is worth $1500.

When talking to someone about a mutual contact whom you are about to see, and upon leaving said conversation, the someone says "say hi to mutual friend for me". Do you pass on the hi?

Rarely, my wife gets shitty if I don't pass on a hi to her. Actually there was one last week, ran into a school dad and he said to say hi to the family and I did not.

If I'm seeing them straight away, maybe. Usually forget otherwise.

I'd have a few questions for you if one of your hot school mums said to say to my wife for her (and a few questions for my wife too I'd reckon)

i think i may have left out a question mark and a comma in my post.

On topic one of my mates reckons there's heaps of MILFs at school pick up/drop off, less than a handful at my son's school I reckon. You see they don't tell you this sort of important shit at the school open day.
so you will take you son out of his school and move him to the milf one?
