If your car radio is digital, yes. Or if you use an iPod/iRiver etc. that has Digital Radio and you plug it in via an aux cable.

Whens a suitable time to wake up if I have nothing on in the morning?

I try to set it for 8am but don't want to sleep less than 8 hours and cam never get ready for bed by 12. Is 9 to 9.30am too late?

12:00 for me, although I do work 2:30-10:30 so I may be a little out of whack with the normal people of Earth.


As for my question, should I be worried about my job now if my employer has been marked for privatisation probably in 2016 or later?

Orite BigFooty so I have a bit of a dilemma.....................

.Finished Uni last year with business/management degree of some sort
.Since then have been working casually here and there but nothing for a month or two now
.Have had my eye on a particular job for a couple of months. As far as I can see, there's only one company in Melbourne that offers this job. I see this job get advertised for every month or two.
.Have applied once for this job but got knocked back. Well I think so anyway. I saw the job had been taken down from the site. I called the company to see what the status of the job was and they said the position was filled and the unsuccessful ones had been emailed. I defs applied and didn't get an email but pretty sure they'd let me know if I had got the job....not sure what's going then there.
.This is the one job I can see myself in, in the future/would enjoy etc etc
. A couple of months I also applied for a graduate position at Linfox because I thought I better apply for some jobs even though I wasn't sure sure what I wanted to do.
. Got an email today say I passed through to the next stage and that there is a group interview coming up
. I know I'm not guaranteed to get it anyway but I don't think I really see myself this position in the future.
. However I need a job and they would pay good money for a 21yo like me. 50k or thereabouts I read
. They need RSVP by Tuesday
. No idea what I want to do
. Haven't told rents as I know they'd make me do my darndest to get the graduate job as I've literally been doing nothing for like 2 months


This is like choosing my VCE subjects/uni degree all over again.

I have taken everyone's advice and gone for said graduate job
I figure if I get it, I will have something to fall back on if I don't find anything better before the start of next year when it commences
If I don't get it, it will still be a valuable experience in terms of an interview for a real job etc etc
Interview starts 8am Monday and is out in whoop whoop so I'm going to have to be up prrrretty early in the morning
If it goes badly and Liverpool win the title, I'm not going to be in a good mood on Monday.....

I guess long term it would be better if I had the job and thus a steady career path but short term of Liverpool winning the title would not be good

It actually hasn't been that many, most of the Saturday Morning drafts if I recall were webcast via Telstra with an hour's wrap on 10 repeated on Fox. There were a few drafts in the late 90's that Channel 7 down south telecast that weren't relayed to the northern states as well. It's really only been since the draft was moved to midweek that Fox has telecast the proceedings, although the one time I actually attended the draft (2012) their coverage apparently was abysmal preferring to talk to top 10 picks over the top of clubs taking their picks in later rounds.

They do have the red button option of watching the actual draft instead of them doing interviews.
