Has anyone participated in a protest srs?
I look at most of them and just think nah "cbf'd". Horrible attitude I know.
I've protested against, HECS, two Iraq wars, Apartheid, refugee policy, Rumsfeld being in town, Tony Abbott being PM, I find it really empowering. The only thing I would legit protest is if they decided to bring conscription back or introduce a state religion (unless it was Judaism...mmmm bagels!)

I don't regret regret protesting, because at least I was contributing and not just sitting on my fat arse whinging, but I do regret joining the YSAI've had no complaints mate.
Lol, I can sense regret in that post. [emoji14]
Sorry to backtrack, but we are so passive in Australia. We rarely if ever properly protest and when it does come to that it's an orderly waste of time used only as social media fodder for the "righteous".
I was amazed when I went to Europe and noted how passionate a lot of cultures are to actually bringing about change through protest not just voice opinions ad nauseum.
Would be too hard to police anyway given it would still remain legal in the ACT.. like everything else.If the govt banned internet pr0n here there would be mass protests/riots.
Mostly from males of course.

Thought so, I am hoping to get back Monday, so hopefully there will be no unpaid leave.
Depends on internal company policy. I would be asking for a clearance cert from doc but it's not required by law.I was under the impression that you were not allowed to go back to work if you had a medical certificate saying you were unfit for work incase something went wrong at work then your work would be liable? Insurance issues or some shit
MEB_ plz confirm
It is different if it's a workers comp claim though, then you cannot work unless clearedfair i work for a large company, so, probably just covering themselves - had people get sent home before when they get in with a certificate says they shouldn't be in.
Why HECS?I've protested against, HECS, two Iraq wars, Apartheid, refugee policy, Rumsfeld being in town, Tony Abbott being PM, I find it really empowering.
