I thought of doing something special for 12/12/12, but I didn’t do anything for 11/11/11 or 10/10/10, oh well -maybe this year:thumbsu:
I was going to do something special on March 1 as well.

It is amazing how many people celebrate "what is good about Australia" by making a moo of themselves.

I thought that is why we have Bali; so we can ship the mood elsewhere.
At least there is some sort of control in Australia.
In Bali they are completely out of control and can drink to obliteration and then chant Aussie oi oi and really make ****wits of themselves.

If there's one thing lamer than tennis, it's tennis crowds.

"Oh, the ballboy caught the ball on the full. I shall cheer loudly!"

"Oh, Murray served the ball and it got stuck in the net! I shall laugh uproarously!"

"Oh dear god! Novak Djokovic just flicked a rogue moth to the back of the court with his raquet! My sides are literally splitting!!!"

"Pat Rafter just flubbed his ball toss and apologised to his opponent, guffawfivesix!!"

"Cyclops just beeped and everyone whistled so I whistled too *Newcombedelfingrin*"

That reminded me of an old Wicking cartoon. :p

I used to love the constant cries of "C'mon Tim" from some chubby, upper class Brit, dressed as a medievil king, during another Tim Henman semi-final that would ulimately end in failure.

Poor old Tim. For a time there, due to him always bowing out in the Semi-Final, the half erection (aka, the "semi") became known in Britain as a "Henman". Probably his greatest claim to fame.

Yep, poor old Timmy, the Glenelg of tennis. He couldn't even do a Bradbury.

I like how Henman was their primary armament when we had an arsenal of nearly men like him beneath the array of pinnacle climbers.

Woodforde, Woodbridge, Stoltenberg, Cahill, Masur, Phillipoussis, just some of the Aussies who made semis in the singles of a Grand Slam.

I want to see the Advertiser publish some photos of a barely clothed Nat Von Bertouch and Erin Bell emerging from the ocean.

Then you could actually say "Look, a pair of great ****", then cover your tracks by saying you were bird watching...then realise that sounds just as bad, and say that you were looking at a particular species of tetrapod avians.

Will Olympians still be allowed to do it?
As long as its for Gold and not shameful shameful bronze ;) My issue with the flag is when it's draped over the shoulders of boozed up idiots who are looking to start trouble. Fortunately its a small minority of c##ks who use it for this purpose.

Viva La Nina - 2013.

Been watching the Qld weather since mid last week when I saw on the Weather Channel that parts of the Gulf of Carpentaria towns were hit with 700mm in a week. Since then have been noticing how many towns/places have been receiving between 200mm and 400mm of rain in a 24 to 36 hour period. Over a month's rainfall in a day!! Adelide's average rainfall is approx 550mm. You can see how many places have had 400mm+ in the last week at
