That post has no "feel"
I seem to have stopped being funny. I've deleted about ten posts I started writing today because they were crap and I was trying too hard.
Am I becoming BMT???

Are you Adam Sandler?
Portia hasn't been funny for a day.
Adam Sandler hasn't been funny for almost 20 years.

It did start somewhere though![]()
I have a `great' idea for an Adam Sandler film actually. Are you Adam Sandler?
No because in that one he did ridiculous things like being an emotionally stunted idiot going to school, whereas in this one he does ridiculous things like being an emotionally stunted idiot doing charitable deeds. You just described his movie Billy Madison.

Yep, Waterboy was great. And I didnt mind Happy Gilmore....gave us quite a few lines to use on the golf course.I'm no Sandler fan but respect where respect is due Waterboy is one of the greatest films ever made and has been the basis for my adult life.
Waterboy was pretty good, I agree.
Actually I really liked Punch-Drunk Love, but it doesn't really count as an Adam Sandler film IMO.
I've also watched 50 First Dates far too many times. The song over the end titles made me buy a ukelele (that I naturally never bothered learning to play).

The only thing I remember about 50 First Dates (oh the irony) is T**ty dance T**ty dance T**ty dance.
I hope I'm thinking of the right movie.
I 've been meaning to say, I'd prefer if you didn't insist on doing that dance actually...Sounds like a night at the Portia / Dingle abode....
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind was great; exactly the right mix of ludicrous, sappy and thoughtful.
I think Carrey was ok as Not Jim Carrey in The Majestic, but gee that was an odd film...not abnormal, it just didn't feel `right'.
