This woman and those of her ilk spread their lies and misinformation for profit by exploiting the gullible and putting children, the elderly and the immunosuppressed at risk. There is absolutely no scientific basis for her quackery and bullshit. There was no vaccines debate until Andrew Wakefield's shameful garbage in the Lancet - later retracted and himself struck off - that gave buffoons like Jenny McCarthy and Tenpenny a launchpad to metastisise their derp.

She's a scam artist who gets away with her nonsense because she deals in a field that is not readily understood: "Vaccines cause Asthma and Autism and everything in between [sic] - look at this superficially appealing chart that would barely qualify as specious reasoning and here are some pictures of crying kids getting jabbed with photoshopped needles the size of harpoons!".

"Well gee, I don't know what an antigen is, I once caught flu from my flushot [sic] and I can't even stand hearing little Shaniqua crying when she's hungry so... You make a good point Tenpenny! No vaccines it is!"

If she was touring the country peddling similarly harmful nonsense that is more readily understood, like being an advocate for say, not brushing your child's teeth because fluoride(!!!111), or pushing for the legal drinking age to be lowered to 12, she'd be rightly ignored for being the confidence trickster she is.

Instead, pertussis and measles are on the rise and many millions of research dollars are being wasted refuting and re-refuting a problem that never existed in the first place.

Just wanted to add that private venues cancelling an act due to public pressure is not suppression of free speech. Also I think you know that, and are being disingenuous again.

This is a local phenomenon which occurs towards the end of January. It's called 'Off-Season Acidity'. It can only be detected by AFL fans - including AFC 'customers' - who are so bored with life without footy that a certain chemical in their brain wears out and creates footy-starved illusions.

I am suffering from this malaise more than most. In the case of the photo you tagged me with, I see teal blue water, even at night. I see white light in the distance and a black headland.

Besides teal, white and black illusions, I am in a hypnotic trance, created by prolonged monotony. What snaps me out of my trance is the voice of Alias Stupid suddenly sounding out from my computer after a blessed absence. I do my best to reinstate myself into the trance to get away from that voice - like a fingernail across a blackboard it is - but never manage to do it. That awful sound is between my ears all the time all of a sudden. Some say it's the only thing that is between my ears.

One side-effect of this transition is that my imagination runs amok. For example, I hear the word 'customers' and immediately associate it with Bob and Dolly Dyer. An hour later I've written up this appalling piece of shyte, opened a new thread, and posted it on BigFooty. I haven't dared yet to read the replies. I'm sure there is a trick cyclist or three among them. Bloody ambulance chasers!
