Developing talent is about looking at the holistic picture, not just one area.
Personally think losing Phil Bunn from the recruiting team was a big loss
Recruitment isn't the issue is it.
Development of players is. Which the club hasn't done well at all in the last 2 years.

Who is the home ground talent they’ve drafted?
We are an ultra conservative club. We are run by an unaccountable self electing administration. Rob Chapmans silent reappointment is the perfect example of this. Old boys club to the core.
When were we last ruthless with list management or coaching changes?
Would we let go players like Luke Hodge, Jordan Lewis, Chad Wingard?
Would we have an external review of our administration like Richmond or Collingwood?
Would we be prepared to bottom out for a quick resurgence like West Coast?
The only quantifiable metrics the administration want to measure up to are not leaving the 8 and beating Ports attendance.
They think the average Crows punter is completely happy with their performance and that we have no real idea about footy. Last week on my drive in to work I heard Roo on Triple M explain a press, he started his explanation by saying "you've probably heard of a press in footy but don't really know what it is'.
