I'm getting lots of texts from people who are genuinely feeling sorry for me. Family in the northern states that don't follow AFL but have a passing interest in the tiges because of me asking if this is normal

I think AFL footy clubs are a bit more sophisticated than the whole revenge thing. I'm sure Chis Scott is.

Some will say asserting a certain sort of authority is the same thing, and it might be to some, but at Club land it is treated with more than just tit for tat.

I agree with you though that, apart from Adelaide, Geelong would be a much tougher opponent that the last time we played them. Just look at their record compared to ours. They plan, they strategize to a very professional level and got caught out last time we played them. We agree Sash - take them lightly at your peril.
